Stoker's Hub
Blind & visually impaired cyclists are the stokers, pedalling from the rear seat of the tandem. Stokers add power, making tandem bikes go faster and farther. The cyclist in the front seat, the captain, controls the steering, shifting, and braking.
To get started, create a profile. The profile maintains your privacy by not revealing your real name or street address. After you sign up, you will receive an email from us with a temporary password. If you don’t receive this email, please check your account’s Junk/Spam folder, because we’ve had reports it sometimes arrives there. Then, please make us a safe sender. That way, you’ll be sure to receive emails from captains and/or stokers wanting to contact you.
