Creating a Profile

We provide a place in cyberspace for sighted and blind cyclists to connect with one another. But, we do not physically introduce riders to one another. Nor do we verify any representations made by and between users of our site. Thus, it is your responsibility to make wise, informed decisions when choosing tandem partners.

How to Get Started

1. Create a username. (your real name and home address not required)

2. Enter your email address. (it will remain hidden)

3. Select your role, Captain (sighted cyclist), or Stoker (blind cyclist).

4. Agree to our Terms of Use.

5. Check your email for a temporary password from Bicycling Blind. If you don’t see it, check your Junk/Spam folder and add us as a safe sender.

CREATING YOUR PROFILE

Provide your height, weight, riding style/interests, and experience level. This information is visible to other users and helps cyclists determine compatible tandem partners. You’ll also be able to view other riders’ profiles when searching.

We offer suggested safety guidelines for your first meeting. Please use your own judgment, skills, and intuition when making your tandem cycling connections.
